EVENTO TRASCORSO

Diverse Perspectives

Comune di Rimini

Boating between the arches of the Tiberius Bridge by the Marinando Association.

For 2000 years, inhabitants and tourists in the city of Rimini have been walking along the Tiberius Bridge. It is not simply a link between two banks of the Marecchia river. It is a road from which millions of lives have passed, it is a symbol of confrontation (not always peaceful) between civilisations. It is among the few surviving bridges that can boast a venerable age. This fact, combined with its solidity, has always aroused great wonder to the point of creating the legend of the 'devil's bridge'.

The originality of the 'Different Perspectives' initiative lies in the fact that visitors do not see the bridge 'from above', as is normally the case, but have the opportunity to walk underneath it, between the arches, thus discovering many details and peculiarities that from normal vantage points, unfortunately remain hidden.
In fact, the visit to discover this monument takes place on board a boat, travelling along the stretch of water of the Ponte reservoir.
And from here one can better notice various details of its history.

Every Wednesday and Saturday from 20:30 to 23:30

The outings last 15 minutes and are free of charge, to support the Marinando association, which works on projects and programmes for people with disabilities through life at sea.

Events may be subject to change, always contact organizers before going to the venue.
